The Oaks Leaves Flutter Softly in the Garden.....

James got out his computer and headed towards some of his friends who also shared an interest in general software development. Robbie was right that his computer was weak, but this made him confident that he didn’t need a higher end machine to do his best work. He was like any other high school kid figuring things out as he went and he loved making his computer a personal extension of himself. Even though he hung out with the kids interested in software in general, he kept good connections with the art kids who made graphics and beautiful UI and the sports kids who found innovative ways to record and distribute game scores and events to every PC in the town. Everyone found a way to apply their interests to coding as there was no standard software that everyone had to use. Every computer was personal yet a result of the community’s hard work. James and Alyssa sat together with some friends while Robbie sat at another close by as they all submitted their programs to the school website to be judged over the next hour. The official 2027 Driftwood High School Coding Conference had begun!

Now, all they had to do was wait. After everyone picked up some dinner at the cafeteria, James noticed Alyssa left her computer open...

WILL JAMES TAKE A LOOK?.

NO! DON'T BE NOSEY!.

REWIND TIME.
